Good! You found my favorite page!

Now I get to tell you a little more about me, and share some links for some neat people who volunteer time to rescue border collies.

My Mum took me out of the county dog pound.

My previous owners gave me away because I tried to herd kids by nipping at their feet. No one taught me any differently. They must not have understood about giving me a job to do. Some border collies aren't as lucky as I was to find a good home.

Border Collie and Collie Rescues

My Mum rescued KayDee on a summer
Saturday morning from the Mojave Shelter.
Because she had kennel cough at the time,
Mum was told it was likely that tiny fluffy puppy would have been
euthanized the following Monday.
KayDee has recovered nicely, and is growing like a weed.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the loving person who was going
to adopt KayDee from us was unable to do so.
So, KayDee's forever home will be here
at Whispering Hope Mini Ranch.
